It is fundamental, as far as we know today. Will Nelsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00289187877856552901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5384583593570605585.post-40393042336211509432012-06-07T22:36:59.730-07:002012-06-07T22:36:59.730-07:00Hi Will,

I have a question for you.

From where did the uncertainty principle come?

Does it come from the idea of the wave function of a particle? If so, where did that come from?

I have been trying to understand the foundations of quantum mechanics and the foundations are always traced back to the same things (uncertainty principle, wave functions, etc.). I can't seem to find (so that I can understand) from where those concepts have sprung forth.

Any thoughts?Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02690469585935642555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5384583593570605585.post-35528513442961253012011-08-23T01:06:25.728-07:002011-08-23T01:06:25.728-07:00I've got to say you have provided a very usefu...I've got to say you have provided a very useful and understandable explanation for uncertainty principle. Most of the one i found on the net was confusing UP with the observer's effect. Thank you and keep it coming.Shunyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02451108892594524168noreply@blogger.com
